Refund policy

This page explains your withdrawal and return options for ceramics and for courses. Your contracting party is Kö Keramik GbR, Schattbachstraße 77, 44803 Bochum, Germany, email: hello@koekeramik.de.

1. Right of withdrawal for ceramics (goods)

Withdrawal instructions

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), take possession of the goods — for orders delivered in several shipments, on receipt of the last shipment.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Kö Keramik GbR, Schattbachstraße 77, 44803 Bochum, Germany, email: hello@koekeramik.de) of your decision by an unequivocal statement — for example by email, by letter or via our online withdrawal form. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this page, but this is not mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day we receive your withdrawal notice. We will use the same means of payment as for the original transaction; you will not be charged any fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having returned them, whichever comes first.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day you informed us of the withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Our request (not a condition of withdrawal): please pack the ceramics securely — ideally in the original packaging — and use insured, trackable shipping.

2. No right of withdrawal exists for

• personalised or made-to-order ceramics (Section 312g (2) no. 1 BGB) — unless defective, in which case statutory warranty rights apply;
• courses and workshops with a fixed date or period (leisure services, Section 312g (2) no. 9 BGB). Instead, our cancellation terms below apply.

3. Cancellation terms for courses and workshops

One-day and two-day courses:

• Up to 14 days before the course starts: full refund minus a €20 processing fee.
• 13 to 7 days before the course starts: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before the course starts: no refund possible.

Special and intensive courses of 3 or more sessions:

• Up to 21 days before the course starts: full refund minus a €20 processing fee.
• 20 to 10 days before the course starts: 50% refund.
• Less than 10 days before the course starts: no refund possible.

You may transfer your spot to another person at any time — just send a short message to hello@koekeramik.de. No refund is possible for unexcused no-shows.

If Kö Keramik GbR has to cancel or reschedule a course or individual sessions for good cause, you will receive a refund of the course fee (or the pro-rated amount), or we will arrange a new date together.

4. Model withdrawal form
